Summary: 13 GABC member countries and 4 non-state GABC members attended this event. Participants discussed the Global Roadmap for the Transition Towards Low-GHG Real Estate, prepared by the GABC Roadmap Task Force. The document was presented at Buildings Day at COP22, 10 November 2016. 13 GABC member countries and 4 non-state GABC members attended this event. Participants discussed the Global Roadmap for the Transition Towards Low-GHG Real Estate, prepared by the GABC Roadmap Task Force. The document was presented at Buildings Day at COP22, 10 November 2016. On day two, 6 member countries presented their national climate policies on buildings, identifying strengths and weaknesses as well as new fields for action. Participants also discussed a common framework to present key public policies in buildings, report on 2016 GABC activities and perspectives, and the possibility of organizing a Ministerial Meeting the following year, gathering all Ministers in charge of buildings and construction to raise awareness and trigger actions.
