SENER is responsible for designing, planning, executing and coordinating public policies in the field of Energy. The above includes monitoring that energy policy is conducted in accordance with the protection of the environment and sustainable development; manage the natural energy resources that the Constitution considers the property of the nation and that are strategic for the economy of the country; grant and revoke concessions to individuals for the exploitation of energy resources; and head the boards of directors of Petróleos Mexicanos and Federal Electricity Commission.

Activity related to low GHG and energy consumption and resilient buildings

The Energy Secretariat SENER is one of the state secretariats that make up the so-called legal cabinet of the President of Mexico. It is the office of the federal executive branch responsible for the administration and regulation of the country's energy resources.
